DURESS… They say timing is everything, and for southern California rock band DURESS, it seems the time is definitely now. Formed in early 2004 in Southern California hot spot, Huntington Beach, CA, the band has quickly gained a strong following playing respected clubs including The Viper Room, Slide Bar, and The Roxy, as well as, with such bands as CKY, Papa Roach, and Suicidal Tendencies among others.
In late 2006 they started recording the recording their debut album THE TIME IS NOW and finished in summer 2007, with ten songs that explode with an energy of a band coming to terms with its own potential. They have acquired strong support from band members in such groups as Cypress Hill, Linkin Park, and Korn among others, as well as, respect from the action sports community including numerous music licenses from such brands as Arnette eye wear, CSTV, Fuel TV, and the Pro Volleyball Tour among others.
